Never let go
The day when you realise you have forgotten who you are, what you believe, an what once used to make you happy is gone. The things you did like writing on your blog, op shopping, antique shopping, spending time with my niece n nephew, baking, going to the markets, the things that make you who you are. My New Years resolution is to never let go of these things, these are what makes me.. Me. Over the past 6 months since my last blog, I have lost who I once was. So this my goal, I'm not going to let go of being me, start being true to myself and do what makes me content.

Celebrating 70 years
On Sunday we celebrated my beautiful Nan's birthday, 70 wonderful years. I hope that when I get to my nan's age that I have what she has! One big happy family! Surrounded by her children, her grandchildren and even her two great grandchildren! It's crazy to think, but my beautiful Nan and Pop have created this.. I love the idea of a big happy family, I'd love to have about 4-6 children, I know this sounds very insane considering I am not a parent and all those mothers out there who I so dearly envy. One of these wonderful mummies I envy most is my lovely sister in law / best friend! She mothers my niece an nephew, she is the perfect mother, and would do anything for her children.
My Nan turns 70 this Thursday, I'm going to bake some red velvet cupcakes for her. Something we love so much. I am watching Brothers & Sisters Season 1. The last episode when Justin is sent off to war. It makes you appreciate your family so much and how important it is to keep them in your life. Happy birthday to my beautiful Nan, love you lots x

friends forever and always
Seven wonderful years ago the most amazing woman walked into our lives, my brothers best friend and the love of his life. I have been there every step of the way, their engagement, the birth of their first child Ebonie Grace where our life would change forever. I happily stood by her as maid of honor whilst she walked down the isle on her wedding day with a tear in my eye of joy an happiness. Followed by the birth of her second child Cody Lucas, the second most wonderful moment of my life.
Know it is her turn, while I stand by her every step of the way whilst she studies to become a midwife. I have never been so proud of her. One day she will be a successful midwife.
She is the most wonderful mother of two beautiful children an she is the most caring person that I know. My family treat her like their own daughter, the sister I never had. She is strong, positive, understanding and will tell you how it is. She is always there for me, even at my worst. We both love quirky and unique findings, garage saleing, op shopping, coffee, vineyards, photography. She is my sister, my best friend.
My life would not be the same without her and I am thankful that she is in my life. I hope that one day I can be half the woman she is today. Over the past years I am a better, stronger person because of her. She inspires me to be a better person, be creative and to always achieve my goals, think big and dont hold back.
She is my sister, she is my best friend, love you always xxx

Antique shopping, Op Shopping, Markets. I love it!!
I just can't get enough! Antique shopping, Op Shopping, Markets. I love it!!
There is nothing better than getting a bargin, or something antique that you absolutly love and was so worth every cent. One man's trash is another man's treasure. It is so true, although it may be second hand it is kind of exciting for me. I don't mind that it was once own or worn by someone else.
Handmade items, patch work quilts, old world an unique jewelery, woven an pretty scarfs, vintage an hippy style clothing and bags, beautiful antique paintings, Paris style items.. it's amazing! In fact, I really could imagine myself growing up in that era where love was true and family and marriage was expected.
We visited the Olive Tree Markets on Saturday, now if you visit Newcastle "this is a must". They are usually on the first Saturday of over month at the Junction Public School. They have very unique collectibles, freshly grown flowers and amazing food/ coffee to die for!
Me and my beautiful mother went antique shopping in at Hamilton. You always have too look hard before the good ones come along, we went to about 5 different stores, the first two were a big let down. Before we gave up there was a dutch antique store hiding away, which had old style furniture too. We loved it and they weren't too badly priced either. Cheap antiques, what a bargain. I can't wait to decorate my house when I move out, I can already imagine what it would be like.

what tv series family are you
Do you every think what your life would be like if you that person in that tv series or movie. Dreamy and imaginative fantasy I know, but seriously what would yours be? I love my family and friends don't get me wrong, but do you ever dream about this haha
I love to be apart of the Gilmore Girls or Packed to the Rafters family too. But Gilmore Girls is my favourite show, where ever I am watching this it makes me feel like home. I just wish I could just jump straight into there life and be one of them. Id love to be American, and how they all head off to collage after school. It is so big in the USA. In Australia, college isn't so important, and very serious. It is only really necessary if you are really becoming a doctor or a lawyer etc. But College, what we call Uni, it is not pressured as much in Australia. You have to have very high school certificate marks to get in. But I always would wonder what it would be like to live in America, a small home town, heading off to college an meeting new people. wow our worlds would be so different.
What movie or tv series family are you?
I am only one person
It's not about the shoes, it's not about the hens party. It is the fact that I am turning 23 this year. My two bestfriends are getting married, having kids, buying house's. And me well there is not much too say! Single, Shit Paying Job, lives with my parents, just enjoying the small things in life. I am saving like crazy so I don't have to live with my parents. I am in a position in my life, where I will have to move out on my own because maybe i choose to be this way well I dunno. But I have never been so scared, I don't want to do this alone. I guess bad luck follows me with everything.
I am doing my best at work to try and get a promotion, whilst I will have to get two jobs to afford to live on my own and hopefully buy a house. The stress of being single, lonly and not wanted is getting too me. Although I am so happy for my friends and family, and I don't know what I would do with out them. I am finding it hard to come to terms with the fact that they are in one point of life of where I want to be. Gezz I am only one person, how the hell do people do this on the own.
Have you ever thought of the idea of dropping everything, leaving home to travel the world. Crazy enough. Imagine selling your car, leaving your job, jumping on a plane to the UK for 1 year of your life. Traveling Europe, meeting new people and working in pubs and clubs over there. Your either mad or brave. One of my friends in 6 weeks is moving over to Canada with his girlfriend for 1 year, well he may not come back. But he is making the move, Id like to think that I was brave enough to pack up all your bags and travel the world. It would be pretty amazing.

There are three kinds of people in this world: people who got no dreams, people who got dreams and don’t do nothing about it, and people who go out and fulfill their dreams. I don’t know about you, but I’m the third kind
