Eat, Pray, Love
You have to watch this movie, it is fantastic! Eat, Pray Love. Starring Julia Roberts. I must say, I was surprised. It was like 3 movies in one and I loved it! Maybe I love it because in ways I can relate to it. I love to travel and I do love a good love story. The movie makes you want to be more positive about your life, and what you want to do with it.
I don't want to give the story away, but. Liz is married in her thirties and completely lost. Decides that this isn't what she wants and gets a divorce. In the mean time she has plans/ dreams to travel. She bravely decides to travel for one year to Italy, India & Bali. It is quite a remarkable story; about a brave and intelligent women trying to find happiness in herself. I guess in life, you must find happiness in yourself before love finds you.
I am just about to start reading the book, and I am already excited. You know that they always say that the book is always better than the movie. I will keep you posted.
A quote from one of the best:
Liz Gilbert: In the end, I've come to believe in something I call "The Physics of the Quest." A force in nature governed by laws as real as the laws of gravity. The rule of Quest Physics goes something like this: If you're brave enough to leave behind everything familiar and comforting, which can be anything from your house to bitter, old resentments, and set out on a truth-seeking journey, either externally or internally, and if you are truly willing to regard everything that happens to you on that journey as a clue and if you accept everyone you meet along the way as a teacher and if you are prepared, most of all, to face and forgive some very difficult realities about yourself, then the truth will not be withheld from you.

the list
There are people who have dreams, and there are people who actually pursue these dreams. Everyone has a list, but have you written it down? Places you would love to visit, things you want to buy or do? Something that is usually out of reach or comfort zone.
I have inspired my lovely sister in law team mummy: My Bucket List to write a list! Who knows, it may be unreachable to you know, but maybe it will help you complete the list quicker than you think?
My list is for 2012:

time flys when your having fun
wow! where has the time gone, it sure has flown. And has been 1 month since I have blogged! Yes lazy, but yes busy. For two weeks of this time, I was away in beautiful Fiji. As soon as I got back I had my work Christmas Party and Miss Ebs 3rd birthday.
Fiji 2011
Was absolutely amazing, I had the time of my life. We stayed 10 nights at the The Sheraton Villas - Denarue 20 minutes from Nadi Airport.Visit: Sheraton Nadi Hotels Fiji
We actually ended up getting cheap airfares with Jetstar over there which was really good. It was only a 4 hour flight there so it wasn't too bad.
We were over there to celebrate my lovely mothers 50th birthday! It was really nice, I have been over to Fiji before but that was when I was younger. Did anything change, yes!! It was better than ever. Although the weather was pretty crappy, it just didn't matter.
Your in one of the most relaxing places in the world. Nothing beats spending time with family and getting away from the crowd, facebook, pretty much all communications with everyone else at home. It was peaceful.

feels like home to me
At the moment I am starting to watch Australian tv series of Packed to the Rafters. I have all three series an only started to re-watch it. I absolutely love it.
Do you ever get that feeling when you watch something, an it just feels like home. Some parts of the show relate to you or aspire you to be a better person. I have the same feeling when I watch Packed to the Rafters, The Block or when they had great shows like Always Greener and Home& Away, well when it used to be good with Hayley n Noah.
Good Australian Shows, they are hard to find, and don't come along too often! They are usually great shows until the kill off the main star. It is honestly like losing a friend, depending on how attached to the show you are. Don't get me wrong I did have a tear in my eye the episode in Packed to the Rafters when Mel dies, the only question was "Nooo!! why did they have to do that for?".
Although it is still great to watch, and I do highly recommend to all. The Rafters - a family every Australian can relate to. I can't wait for season four to be released!
Now all I need is my cup of tea, a chocolate biscuit and my rafters and I am one happy girl!
Are there any shows that you watch that makes you feel like home?

girls night in !!!
Sometimes, the thought of staying at home on a Saturday night can make you feel lonely and sometimes quite lazy! Some things don't go always as planned, but my theory is that when you don't make plans it actually turns out to be one of the best nights! And it was!
Some things to make me feel abit better about myself:
1. NEW clothes - shopping for 3 hours that day & feeling completely satisfied with my purchases, and yeah not over spending is always a plus!
2. CHOCOLATE coated strawberries an bananas! Possibly not the most wisest choice, but it just tastes so good, how could you not resist! Strawberries & bananas is I suppose a healthy alternative than to eating the whole block of chocolate.
3. MOVIES! Something BORROWED! & Water for Elephants
Movie Review
Something Borrowed is a total chick flick, but also a very funny romantic comedy.
The title gives the story line away, so you you know what to expect. It does have Kate Hudson in it, who is one of my favourite actors. I thought it was really good one to watch, good perve haha, if you are into that whole lovey dovey stuff, I guess its right up my ally lol! Now only if men could be that romantic! Blondie rates this at 4/5. Water for Elephants is also another chick flick, but was actually very interesting. Although I am not a big fan of the main actors, it was an enjoyable movie to watch. Oh and I love elephants. You will either love it or hate it. Blondie rates this at 3/5
Although I didn't do much this weekend, it actually turned out to be quite nice spending time with my beautiful family! I hope everyone had a lovely weekend!

cody lucas turns 1
Happy 1st Birthday to my beautiful nephew Cody Lucas. I can't believe how time has flown. Cody is my very cute and adorable nephew. He is such an angel and always makes me smile with happiness every time I visit.
One year ago Sunday, we were waiting eagerly for mr Cody Lucas to arrive.. Yes, he is our little halloween baby! hehe...
On Sunday we celebrated his birthday. My sister-in law organised a fantastic day and I have to give her credit for all the hard work that went into one day. Pretty suckie about the weather, very humid and raining. But it actually turned out to be alot of fun, Cody crawling around in his nappy in the puddles. hehe.

sweet saturday
MaxBrenner Yum Yum !!!
Dinner with my favs
Coco Monde; Darby Street Newcastle
(Highly Recommended)
Why Chocolate?
Because it tastes good!
It contains caffeine .. enough said
A chocolate bar contains more calcium, protein and B2 vitamin than a banana or an orange..
Dark chocolate can lower blood pressure and cholesterol & helps as an anti-depressant
My mother suffers from high blood pressure, an since testing the theory of dark chocolate. It has proven right, she can deffently notice the difference after a couple of days of having a couple pieces each day! So there you go!

home sweet home
There is nothing like that feeling of getting home, into your pj's and just vegging out on junk food whilst watching your favourite shows. An that is exactly what I will be doing this weekend!
Wow! What an exhausting week, all is I want to do is just relax for five minutes. It has been crazy, last weekend we ended up heading to Sydney for a shopping trip. It was amazing!! We went to some outlets, DFO outlets at Homebush and Ikea! Besides the fact that I only had approximately 3 hours sleep the night before, as you can imagine I was downing the coffees pretty quickly!
I must say, Ikea was amazing, unbelievable.. massive.. You would probably need about 2 hours to get through everything. Ikea is really good for the normal house hold items from kitchenware, furniture to home decor. Highly recommended. The only thing I was dissapointed in was that I didn't get to try the famous "Ikea Meatballs" We ended up heading getting home about 9.00. By this time the coffee was wearing off and I desperately was in need of some sleep.
I went motorbike riding with my brother the next day, even though I was exhausted. I still went. But I always have heaps of fun when I head out. There is no point in sitting at home inside whilst the sun is out!!
I have been crazy flat out with work this week, an seriously thinking of changing my career. I work in the Admin field an some parts of my job I love, but it really isn't enough anymore. I want to do something that is challenging, something that makes people smile, something that makes me feel at the end of each day that I have made someone else's day or that I have made a difference somehow.. But what it is, I really don't know yet. My inspiration to help:
After my crazy week, I could not think of anything better than just having a quiet weekend at home and spending some time with my lovely family. Who do make a difference to my world an always know how to make me smile. On a happy note, mum just brought in a cup of tea and some chocolates from David Jones. Yum Yum, I love mum so much :) I am so lucky to have her.

Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle. As with all matters of the heart, you'll know when you find it. And, like any great relationship, it just gets better and better as the years roll on. So keep looking until you find it. Don't settle.

my weekend
Every weekend gets easier, who would have thought that two months ago everything was falling apart. But it's not falling apart, it just keeps getting better and better. There are so many things I have to look forward to that I am actually really excited about! Last weekend was amazing...
Friday night we celebrated my cousins birthday starting at Warners at the Bay followed by drinks at the local Warners Bay tavern. I met so many amazing new people, and caught up with old friends I hadn't seen in awhile. I was feeling pretty good about myself, but this may be to do with the amount of alcohol that was consumed. I was confident, flirty and friendly. This was one of the best nights out I have had in awhile. Luckily I got home before the big storm came over at about 3 in the morning (Saturday).
Saturday/ I actually slept in. Which was a good feeling considering I didn't get to sleep until 3am. Although I had the biggest headache I still believe that those drinks were worth the headache Ha! I ended up going out for lunch at Lenas at Warners Bay with my lovely mother, auntie and nan. Our local cafe which has the most amazing food, and really friendly owners. A beautiful cafe that you just would not change a thing. I ended up at Wests that night with a few of my friends mexican and chocolate bar - it just couldn't get any better!
My sister-in law, niece and nephew visited the Darby Street Fair on Sunday which was a beautiful day to get out of the house. I bought some cute new sunglasses! and we got some hair clips for my niece Ebonie! I also bought myself a motorbike, "crazy I know". My brother I think was more excited than me. Ha I just can't wait to take it for a ride next Sunday! This was then followed by Max Brenner with my cousin. Yum Yum!
Wow busy weekend or what? And it's only going to get more busy heading towards Christmas.
I just haven't been able to wipe my smile off my face since Friday night! Now that always means something good! Blondie

if you love someone, set them free
You know when you are looking forward to something and it is a huge let down. Sort of like when you plan something for new year’s eve or a big event for your weekend and your so excited but it’s just a huge let down. Something always dramatic happens and then the night will end in disappointment. That is how my long weekend ended. In one weekend, my whole prospect on my life and what I want can completely change.. Forever. Who is important, and who no longer is.. Besides the fact that it pretty much rained all weekend. Some parts of my weekend were really nice.
Friday/ Yay let my long weekend begin, get out of work early. I spent Friday night at my friends for a beautiful dinner an oh so yummy desert. Chocolate coated strawberry's and banana bread - enough said.
Saturday/ Markets Markets Markets! The one thing you will get to know about me is that I love going to the markets an always try to make it to all the ones held in my town or near by. Me, my sister-in law and beautiful niece an nephew visited the Olive Tree Markets at The Junction (usually held the first sat of every mth)
Followed by dinner/ beers with one of my good mate at Edgy Tav for thai. Pretty much the local there.
Sunday/ when it all fell apart! when you have to ask yourself where do I fit in anymore? Who are my true friends? Why does everything bad happen to me. When's my life going to start. But it has. I can only rely on few, but they know who they are. Take note, never be in a relationship with someone that you have all the same friends it makes it difficult when things end, and people have to choose. It is just an unfortunate thing.
Thankfully, my Sunday was saved. My two best friends/ sister-in laws. We had a beautiful fondue, it was really nice to forget all the stuff that happened. It just didn't matter anymore. I know who is important in my life, and apart me this weekend realised that I should hang out with the people who make me happiest.
They say: "If you love something set it free" A well known saying which in my opinion means if it comes back to you it's yours, if it doesn't it wasn't meant to be. Friendships, Love. Things happen for a reason, if someone truly cares.. they will come back.

when a door shuts, another one opens
I'm 21 years of age, I currently work in the administration field for an Engineering Consulting Company in Newcastle. My best friend/ sister-in-law is Amba (I don't know what I would do without her!). She is also the mother of the my beautiful niece and nephew ~ Ebonie Grace & Cody Lucas ~
My family is one of the most important things in my life. I never really say enough how lucky I am to have such a wonderful and caring family, they are always there for me even when I'm at my worst.
The last six months have possibly been the worst and the best parts of my life. Grief, change, new friendships, love, happiness, heart ache & loss. Even though things just happen, it happens for a reason. Nothing stay's the same or at least not how we think it should go. But each day the sun comes up and every day after that, we move on with our life through good and bad times. Acceptance is possibly one of the hardest things to come to terms with.
When a door shuts, another one opens ~
